With the rise of digital nomads and easy accessibility to high-tech camera gear, it is such a surprise to find outstanding and creative travelers that stand out from the saturated pack. Every little detail shows the expert and creative artistry of these travelers. They have an eye for beauty, and expose the world in such a way that an ordinary person could not possibly fathom. Their creative narrative through their lens makes them unquestionably different from the rest. We can only strive to be a quarter of how great they are. With that said, below are our top 6 of our favorites:
1. SPIRITED PURSUIT
Lee Litumbe of Spirited Pursuit is known for taking absolutely breath taking pictures all over the world. We cannot get enough of the desert terrains, and the colorful architecture in countries such as Morocco and Cameroon. From fine beaches in Costa Rica to the hot deserts of North Africa, Lee captures the beauty of each country beautifully. Her most creative pictures are those of her home country in Cameroon.
2. ASIYAMI GOLD
Asiyami’s story struck a chord within us as we can completely relate. Growing up with African parents can sometimes be challenging (sorry mom!) as “hard sciences” are typically the primary focus. Anything “art” related is never accepted in African households, but Asiyami stopped trying to please her parents and took the step to find her personal legend, just like the shepherd in The Alchemist. Her pictures and videos are full of inspiration and give off a powerful, and strong vibe.

Nasrin Suleiman captures the beaches of Zanzibar, and the everyday going-ons of the locals. We may be a little biased as Zanzibar, where her most prolific photos are captured, is hometown to one of our staff writers. She makes us want to grab our suitcases and lay around serene, blue beaches all day!
4. ZIM UGOCHUKWU

We first came across Zim’s story when we read an article from Necole Kane titled “How Zim Ugochukwu Launched Travel Noire and went from Broke to Boss“. Little did we knowthat she was actually the founder of Travel Noire, an instagram account we’ve been following for years. Her company offers a platform for Black travelers to connect and network as a community that offer each other support.
5. DO YOU TRAVEL
Jack Morris travels across the globe with his Australian girlfriend. He takes his photography to another level and provides us a glimpse into landscapes from a bird-eyeview. All his photos are enchanting so it’s not surprising that he has garnered almost 2 million followers.
6. LET’S GRUB A CUPPA
Mina is a coffee lover and enthusiast, hence the name “letsgrubacuppa”. She enjoys traveling to Europe and finding small coffee shops in which she can continue her creative writing. Her page is filled with all things flowers, bikes and architecture. She has a minimalist approach to her photography and enjoys the art of story telling.
